Founding of the company in Berlin-Spandau, hence the name Spandauer Velours.
1991
Purchase of the current production site in Lichtenstein / Saxony.
1992
Relocation of entire production from Berlin to Lichtenstein.
1998
Range of products extended as a result of buying the Thiel collection.
2003
Commissioning of the most up-to-the-minute flock production line in the world
End of the year, purchase of the European licence for manufacturing Crypton® fabrics.
2004
Installation of a 72 metre long production line costing € 2 million for the manufacture of Crypton® fabrics, and the start of production in the autumn.
2005
Enlargement of the assortment of technical textiles. Emphasis here suede and plush hochfloorige for Farbrollerindustrie for cleaning textiles, and some special structures.

Continued development and expansion of our products and product ranges in the technical field and velvet area.
